The course: "Aaramba Jotidam" is a course launched by the Digital Campus of The Madras Sankrit College. This course gives you an insight into basic Jyotisha Shastram (Astrology).
The classes: Classes will happen live on the zoom platform. In case you miss a class, you can catch up with the video recordings of the classes uploaded in the learning platform.
Objective: The objective of this course is to make one eligible to understand Rashis, their Navamshams, Vargas, strength of Rashis, 12 Bhavas, importance of Muhurtams, details of Tithi, Varam, Nakshatram, measurement of the time from Creation, etc.
Since Sanskrit verses are used to teach the above concepts, being able to read Sanskrit will be helpful.

ஆரம்ப ஜோதிடம் மேற்கொள்வதற்குத் தமிழ் மொழியும், கணினி பயன்படுத்துதலும் தெரிந்திருந்தாலே போதும். பாட நூல்கள் ஸம்ஸ்க்ருதத்தில் இருப்பதால் ஓரளவு ஸம்ஸ்க்ருதம் வாசிக்கத்தெறிந்திருப்பது நன்று.

ஆம். ஆரம்ப ஜோதிடத்தின் இரண்டாம் பகுதியின் முடிவில் தேர்வு உண்டு. அதில் தேர்ச்சி பெருபவர்களுக்குச் சான்றிதழ் மின்னஞ்சல் மூலம் அனுப்பப்படும்.
Yes. At the end of the second part, there will be an online exam. After the completion of (passing) the exam a certificate will be sent via email.
