श्रीमद्वरदराजाचार्यविरचितः लघुसिद्धान्तकौमुदीग्रन्थः व्याकरणशास्त्रप्रविविक्षूणां अतिमुख्यः सरलः च ग्रन्थो भवति। तदयं ग्रन्थः अस्मत्कलाशालायां 2019 वत्सरस्य नवम्बर् - मासे प्रचालिते अखिलभारतीयप्रशिक्षणवर्गे पाठ्यग्रन्थः असीत् यत्र विभिन्नेभ्यः प्रान्तेभ्यः महान्तो विद्वांसः अस्मत्कलाशालीयाश्च विद्वांसः सत्राध्यापकत्वेन कार्यक्रमस्य शोभां समवर्धयन्। तेषामेव सत्राणां चलचित्रमुद्रणात्मको भवत्ययं पाठ्यक्रमः सर्वेषां हिताय जालपुटे पाठ्यक्रमरूपेण प्रकाश्यते । प्रशिक्षणवर्गत्वादेव ग्रन्थेस्मिन् समयनिर्बन्धानुसारम् अस्पृष्टाः अपि अंशाः भवन्त्येवेति ज्ञेयम् ।
1. What are the prerequisites for the course?
To join Laghu Siddhanta Kaumudi one must be able to Understand Sanskrit. Preferably one must have completed the Praveshika1 and Praveshika2 courses conducted by The Madras Sanskrit College.
2. How many lessons and total length of the course?
Laghu Siddhanta Kaumudi has 41 videos and each video has the average duration of 1 hour.
3. Is there an exam at the end of the course?
Yes. At the end of the last lesson (41 st video), you can take an online exam where there will be 100 multiple choice questions to be answered in 90 minutes.
4. Will there be a certificate of completion of this course?
Yes. We will issue an online certificate from our college to those who complete the course and pass the exam.
5. Are there any post-lesson quizzes or worksheets to be done?
In this course there are no quizzes and worksheets.
6. Why there are different teachers teaching this particular course?
Videos of the online course Laghu Siddhanta Kaumudi are recordings of the 10 days National Workshop organised by The Madras Sanskrit College. Prominent scholars from various parts of India graced the workshop by taking sessions and that is why there are many teachers in this course.

10. How long is my course valid?
The course is valid for one year from the date of your joining the course. Within that period you are expected to complete studying the lessons and take the final exam also. However, in some courses there may not be a final exam, in which case you will have to complete all the lessons and quizzes within one year.
